I have a question.... what tile does this represent? Never come across it before.



It is the claw tile from the attack on Oakdale scenario.

It's a Wandering Monster Trap. Whenever a Hero steps onto such a tile, the EW has to place the Wandering Monster for that quest somewhere next to the Hero. The monster(s) may attack immediately, after which the turn of the Hero ends. The trap is triggered only once for each instance and it can not be found through searching.

that is not a tile, it is a normal room with 3 traps and a bookshelf

Technically, the Bookcase is in the room on the other side of the wall, in a different room from the one with the 3 traps .

Played HQ a long time ago, and now just getting back into it.

Love the simplicity of this games combat system, but also the way people have ideas and have expanded on it (if you choose to)
