Imps: Tell me what you think and request for artwork

Hello Everybody!

I am in the process of making a new monster type, called Imp. I have worked out all of the stats and abilities already, only I'm pretty useless at drawing and using the computer to make images, so I was wondering: maybe somebody has some time they could spare to make a monster image for Imp and a mini-icon? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Imp stats:

Movement: 12
Attack: 1
Defend: 1
Body: 1
Mind: 4

Abilities: At each Evil Wizard character's turn, for each Imp visible on the board, the Evil Wizard may roll one movement dice. They can then 'summon' a number of Imps equal to the number rolled on the dice into the same room or passage as the 'summoning' Imp.

While their stats are low, they are mainly used as a nuisance for the Heroes. What do you think? Any comments and help greatly appreciated.

That would be fantastic. Thank you very much!

Glad the Imp is a hit! Although I haven't play-tested it so I don't know whether they are overpowered or underpowered.

This sounds quite good. I think that it is going to be a big nuisance for the heroes that they may even just run away and let him follow.

I really like the idea behind the Imp and the stats are good. I do have one problem with the ability. Allowing the Evil Wizard to roll one Red Die for each Imp is extreme, unless there's a chance to call no Imps at all. Otherwise every Imp in the board will summon at least one Imp. The numbers would increase rapidly should the heroes experience some poor attack rolls. They would never be able to recover.

I suggest setting a maximum number of Imps allowed on the board at any one time to keep them as a nuisance and prevent them from evolving into a pain in the @$$.

That's a good idea. How about maximum of 6 visible Imps allowed on the board. This means that the summoning doesn't get too overwhelming, and Imps in unopened rooms are still allowed in game. But, if there's 6 Imps in a room and a Hero opens another door containing more Imps? :? Maybe the door is 'Magically locked'?

Instead of locking doors, revise the ability so Imps cannot summon more Imps should the max number already exist visibly on the board. That way, Imps on the Quest Map may still be found and the Heroes' progress will not be hindered. I would also allow them the ability to summon up to the max number of visible Imps. This will help keep numbers in check and still allow some summoning.
Summon Imps wrote:At the beginning of each of Zargon's/Morcar's turns, every Imp currently on the board may summon more Imps instead of attacking, up to a maximum of (x) total visible Imps present on the board. For each Imp, roll one Red Die. Place up to that number of Imps (without exceeding the maximum visible Imps) as close to the summoning Imp as possible. Summoned Imps may move and attack immediately. Summoned Imps cannot summon more Imps until the beginning of Zargon's/Morcar's next turn.
