Here are the new look for the spell cards and hero cards for the Heroquest Remaster Edition...Comments are welcome (good or bad ! )

I prefer the originals.

originals is always better, but changes are good too. I like the spells cards !

In this case, I must second Ethica.

Of course original is always original, giving you that special nostalgic feel, but on a pure objective aesthetic level, your other remasterings are a real improvement over the original art.

This new spell and hero cards don't stand up to your standard. In the spell card, the parchment looks "cut away" at the right edge, the neon blue wizard logo don't fit the antique style at all and looks "flat", ruining the threedimensional effect of the scroll. The hero card with it's tilted sides makes me feel dizzy.

Sorry - it's your artwork and has to fit your taste first and foremost.
I have published some of my own work here, too, and would not feel all too good if someone would critisize it the way I just did for yours. But still I want to be honest, or else my generally positive comments to your work, for which I have the greatest respect, would be worthless.

No problem Big Bene ! I prefer that you be honnest and when I think about your feelings, I must admit that finally, you're right (specially for the blue logo). It is certainly not the better choice I have made... So I will find a new way, or just simply keep the original look.

Else, you have these few colourful cards for the system artefacts I have just made :

Yeah, grav...I gotta agree...these new one's don't really match the quality you've shown us before. I'd stick with the
previous remakes you've done...maybe keep working on these new ones to make them stronger.

I know I'm kind of late to this thread, but I really like these new colorful cards. I think they're really well done. I hardly ever notice the black and white images on the original cards. I just read the text and move on. But these cards kind of make me stop and appreciate the artwork.
