In honor of the release of the Frozen sequel (just kidding), here are some tests for my new cards. Just messing with the colors, basically (ignore the red dotted lines, those won't be in the finals)...

Red seems like an appropriate color for some other tests, here for the Evil Wizard and some Dark Company...

Or maybe they should be back in black? (I actually have black mercenary and chaos warrior miniatures to match)...

Things started off a lot colder (I toned it down to the colors shown in the first post)...

Ultimately I'm just doing this for a few cards, not everything. I like the default colors for the NA releases well enough. A bit like the colored dice, they're more for special circumstances. If I were really crazy, I'd try to get some gold foil cards to represent the treasure...

But why don't you leave them whit the classic colors? Especially the negative image of the mercenary is a bit strange.
What are the the red - - - - - lines standing for in the first attachment?

I'm not certain but I think the red lines in his first picture are from the template for thegamecrafter site. It is the safe zone where image it's safe being cut off when drift occurrs when printing.

They're from the template of the MPC (makeplayingcard) company website. If you don't like my color choices here, you'll probably like the others I was working on even less.
I'm talking brown, orange, blue, and green "spell scroll" cards.

This is for an alternative set I'm making (my main gaming partner and I both have sets so this is to help them not get confused when we play and share assets), it won't permanently replace anything.

I was guessing the red dotted lines were the cut guides.
As for the colors, did you have a look at the spanish re-colored version?
