Flare magic. Seems like a fun magic card for the Wizard.
Roll skulls, anything else gives the evil wizard the right to put 2 flame tokens on the board.
Its from the HQ25 Ignis English. From 1:28

My question is how do we include this in the original HQ game ?
And how would the card look like?

Made this, not sure if its good enough. Comments please, will it work ?

Cost 1 mind point.

Any square in line of sight. The next squares do not have to be in LOS,
But must be in contact with a previously burning square.

Effects 8 squares, choose first square.
Next 7 are choosen one after the other rolling 1 white dice. For each, if the result is not a skull, the EW chooses any adjacent square to the already affected one. Each square receives damage of 1BP without defence.

Only to be used by the Wizard

Looks interesting enough, a fire spell that jumps from square to square. Looks quite electric to me.

You shouldn't have mentioned HQ25.

The words are still a bit complicated, though... sorry I have no alternative right now.

Hehehe, changed the text a bit. "the EW chooses any adjacent square" to the EW chooses 2 adjacent squares
What i like about it is that if your unlucky the spell turns against you, and everybody around you, in any direction.
EW- Evil Wizard

Does the spell resolve all within casting?

The problem with letting the EW choose where the fire goes means that he will most likely have the fire crawl around the monsters, so they remain free of damage, while also trying to catch the Heroes into those flames, instead.

Why not randomise it?

"Put a Fire Token in target square in line of sight. The head of the fire randomly moves around, roll a red die 7 times in succession. With each roll, add a Fire Token to the next square: up if 1, right if 2, down if 3, left if 4. At 5 or 6, the square it is in now. If the target square is on the other side of a wall, treat the roll as 6. Once all 7 rolls are made, attack all characters with a number of dice equal to the number of Fire Tokens on the square they are standing on."

I Guess my card would be Close to this;

eh....sorry.
I see that the white dice have 3 skulls and 3 Shields wich makes it hazardious to use. Maybe it would be better to use a 1-6 dice and Count 1-4 as a positive attack. That leaves 5-6 to the EW.

Yes! Having it under the control of the sorcerer and his opponent alternately makes sure that the fire stays close to populated areas of the dungeon. :)

Now how to put that in 10 lines? :D

Maybe like this.

Cost 1 mind point
Effets 8 squares, from the caster.
Put 1 flame token near a monster, in line of sight.
The next squares do not have to bee in LOS, must be in contact with a previously burning square.
Roll 1 D6, 7 times.
For every 1-6 place down 1 flame token.
If you get 5 or 6, EW decides where to place the next 2 tokens.
Only adventures with magical capabilities.

In that incarnation, you're missing the damage component of the spell :P.
