New spell cards

I've been working on these new spell sets.

Some of the ideas and pictures are similar to WoM and the elf and barb quest packs but since I'm not ever going to own them, I thought I'd use the art and ideas. There is much stolen artwork in these. I must say I haven't drawn anything on these. All I've done is put them together.

Some of the spells may seem quite overpowered but there is a reason for this-

Following what someone on here said about having the wizard pick their spells and stick with them until they die I think is a great idea so what I've done is made groups of spells you can pick making you a different kind of wizard, thus:-

a) The Elementalist - Fire, Earth, Water and Air Spells
b) The Druid – Forest Spells and Water Spells
c) The Illusionist – Illusory Spells, Air Spells and Earth Spells
d) The Seer – Foresight, Water Spells and Air Spells
e) The Sorcerer (or Battle Mage) – Sorcery and Fire Spells
f) The Necromancer – Necromancy

Though I'm still working on these groups.

Please let me know if anyone can think of ways to improve my spells.

Also, I was wondering; After you've transformed into an animal, what happens next?

I imagine a whole host of applications. On a basic level you could transform into an orc and move amongst orcs unchallenged (like viel of mist). In more complex situations you could perhaps pass checkpoints or even command lesser monsters once you've fooled them you are their master.

It's probably the only open ended spell I've included, just to spice things up a bit.

Alchemy spells (Potion Making)
Ice spells

Thanks. I'm glad you like them. They are euro format cards and with power gauged on the euro game system. Probably not much use to most people on here.

I'm getting them printed at the weekend so I'll have them for real.

I'm not going to do any more character spell cards probably. Just more equipment, monster cards and more quest treasures and possibly some dragon spells.

Aww, okay.
Quest treasures would be nice.

You say they're made to go with the euro system. I don't know if the euro system uses dice other than
the combat dice and the red six-sided dice.
I might suggest taking out the idea of using a d4, or anything other than the combat dice and the
six-sided dice.
Other types of dice only complicate the system, and one reason HQ is so great is that it doesn't
require the use of a handful of different types of dice - all you need is some of the combat dice
and a couple of six-sided dice - the d6 which can be gotten from ANY board game.
And really - if you can't get your hands on combat dice, you can simply use d6
3/4/5 = skulls
1/2 = white shields
6 = black shields

Otherwise - looks really good - good ideas for new spells, and from the quick read I did of a few,
they look simple enough (again, without the use of other dice types, that is) - that is a problem
I have - making spells simple enough to go with the system.
