Will the secret door only be revealed if there is one in this wall, or will it be magically "created"?
What if there is solid stone behind the wall? Not all maps use the full gameboard.

once, or once per quest? Kinda useless if you open a door to a solid rock room :\

It is magically "created" and it's better of course to know what lies beyond the wall otherwise it has no effect and the staff loses its power.

Just once.
If you are trapped from falling rocks this staff can save you (maybe i should add that it applies on the whole 1x1 square that the wall belongs).
You can also use it to create a shortcut for tactical reasons or to not get trapped in a dead end when monsters hunting you.

You may want to add a line something like what they have on the Pass Through Rock spell. Something like:

"Caution! There are shaded areas on each Quest Map which indicate solid rock. If you create a secret door leading to one of these areas your door will be wasted!"

I think now it's more detailed:

"You may hit this staff to a wall,
counting as an action. A secret door
will be revealed, connecting your room
or corridor with the other side of that wall.
You may then continue your movement.
The staff has no effect on solid rock areas
except blocked squares from falling rocks.

It can be used twice, then it becomes a regular staff."

Is it usable by anyone? The card don't say otherwise so I assume so, but then again what self respecting Barbarian would carry the Staff of Helpmerunaway around with him?

I like the concept of this a lot. But I can't help but feel it should either be "once per quest" or be turned into a spell scroll (or spell?) instead.

There's something demotivating about having a magic staff that looses it's power after using it once :(

I have used my magic staff many many times and it still works.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
