So, we actually play with a Cleric and I made a set of Cleric Spell cards. This is the back of it. I think it matches the style of the original spell cards and I hope someone here can use it.

Nice work and welcome to the Inn.

What are the spells you use for the cleric?
(There is a template here somewhere that you can use to make the front of the cards ;) )

nice work. Did you paint this, or is it photoshopped? And what does the icon stand for? Never seen it before.

@Warrior, thanks kindly. These are just test spell cards for now. We have been playing with a Cleric for a short time, but thus far, it seems like a good set of spells that help in the higher quests. Image

@Sjeng Yes, I photoshop my own work, the symbol was taken from a Wizards of the Coast D&D picture. Since a traditional Cleric in D&D use Holy symbols to repel evil undead, I thought I would incorporate a generic symbol without using Christian cross. It looks "holy" but it is just generic.

Looks nice, and I like your cards. I also love making my own cards, but in EU format ;)
The clouds background is great, but if I may suggest something like a book and a hammer as symbols for a cleric? It seems clerics often use a holy book for spellcasting and a blunt weapon of sorts.

PM me your email Sjeng and I'll send you a blank Cleric card without the symbol and you can add your own thing. I like making my own cards too, it so much fun. My daughter and I think of all types of cards while we are driving in the car lol. Anyways, if you want a copy, let me know. Might take me a few to find it but Ill send it to you.

Wow, these spells are really powerful!

Maybe you should clarify how resurrection works?
When can it be used? Must it be used the turn following the death or can it be used whenever?
Where does the revived hero appear? Where he died or next to the cleric?

I love the back for the cleric card. Nice work...nice design.
And I really like the generic-ness of the symbol. Gives the hint of being something holy,
without pointing out to a real world religion. That is difficult to pull off, in my opinion.

I like these because they have continuity. I will use these.

Yeah, I havent really thought about all that. I was trying to keep the text short but direct like the original spell cards, but I might have to make them more descriptive now that you pointed that out. I noticed with the Elf expansion, the spell cards texts are very long and descriptive, too long and descriptive for me, so I was kind of thinking keep it short and fast paced. But, if you guys think they should be redone, I might have to work on them.

Yes, they are powerful, but I know that we all have lost a Hero at least once during a Quest, even the easy ones, so I figure I would buff the "Turn Undead" to really show those Zombies and Mummy's who their messing with. You guys know the very first quest, the room before Fellmarg's Tomb? My Barbarian kicked the door open and charged in screaming "Leeeeeeerrrrrooooooyyyyyyy Jenkins!" and then proceeded to get his butt handed to him by Fellmarg's Tomb Gard and his two zombie buds. I was rolling pretty good that night and left the rest of the party behind one room. I thought, as I lie there dying, all my gold spread across the floor "Damn, I need a Cleric!". Thats why I made the spells so powerful.
