But I did get engaged to my lady on May fifth. She's a girl I've known since seventh grade, and we only got together a couple years ago. She's a sweet lass, and she's quite taken with the Elf in HeroQuest. With the Dwarf and Wizard in my HQ game getting hitched in August, and she and I in October of 2012... We'll see how much funding goes into HeroQuest.... probably not much.

Oh well. She's a treasure in herself.

I got married to a woman who, as a girl had turned to me in french class in 7th grade and smiled - I was hooked.
Took years to finally get together, but I am sure that knowing someone for so long makes for the greatest respect and the deepest of feelings.
You are the luckiest guy alive to get it together and make it work with someone you grew up with. Let it be your inspiration when the going gets tough - this is the girl you knew since SEVENTH GRADE. There is noone else in the world like that.

We're damn lucky guys for the women who adore us.

congrats - being married is great. I married a young lady who, somehow, I managed to insult without
knowing it only after three meetings...and yep, she still married me. Now we have a 1 1/2 year old,
and hoping for a second soon.

Can't wait until our son is old enough to play HQ - she can't stand anything role-playing for fantasy...
such a shame. Her one flaw, you know.

From the chix' point of view, we are the flawed ones - grown men who play with dollies.
The baby boomers would be out there in the back yard getting some work done, or else fixing up something else in the house that needs doing.

In other news, the players of K'Steel the Dwarf and Oankh the Wizard from my table were married last night. HQ will eventually resume!

My wife and I also recently got married, the 12th of august. She's the one who told me about HeroQuest, which made me go and look for a copy of the game. She likes coop games a lot, because she doesn't like competitive games much, and prefers helping eachother beat a greater evil over fighting eachother in games.
So, I'm addicted now, and we both enjoy apinting miniatures too. She's a very fanatic DM though

We got married!

With all of the wedding stuff and now the holidays, there's little Questing going on, but we managed to get a session in a couple weeks ago.
