I've compiled some flavor text from the instructions booklet and questbook to create A Letter from Mentor that you can give to your friends as an invitation/introduction to play HeroQuest.

This is really cool. Where did the part about Zargon and Mentor's history come from, though? It seems familiar but I can't remember what it's from.

I compiled it a couple years ago in microsoft works weird processor, just got done converting into .docx.
I don't remember specifically, but somewhere in the NA version. Either in the rules book or the introduction to the base quest map.

It has been edited with no regard to IP to suit my personal taste and needs. For personal use only, of course.

Oh, you're right. It's right in the beginning of the quest book. My mistake.
