That isn't A, battle bunker. You live next to THE battle bunker. That is the US headquarters for Games Workshop. There is actually a bloodbowl league that plays there if I recall right.

I always wish the authors of custom quests would give the DM a bit of guidance in regards to how geared the players should be for the quest. Some seem like they're supposed to start fresh while others are supposed to use characters carried over from other quests.

I tend to just let my group use the characters from other quests they've done and if it's too easy I usually improvise. It's worked out fairly well so far.

Without really looking at this quest at all yet, are the Heroes supposed to be geared or start fresh?

I'm a big proponent of that exact same thing. With the base rules, I basically only see 2 "levels" of characters though. You have "starting" characters with only the equipment on the character card, and you have "maxed out" characters who have bought everything there is to buy and now are only interested if a cool artifact comes up that has an advantage over the best shop items. You might throw in a "super-maxed" level of characters who also add on more potions than they can keep track of. (There is obviously advancement between starting and maxed, but the time it takes to go from one extreme to the other is extremely short, so quest packs really can't be built for that level.)

If you are using alternate or house rules, it drastically changes the balance of the game. Adding skills, new artifacts, new magic, new hero types, etc, give greater variation and any assessment of the difficulty of the quest would quickly go out the window.

When I write, I write either for "starting" or "maxed". Campaigns built for starting characters are my favorite, because players can see their characters progress over the course of the game.

Lets see it!

But but it's not done yet!

I think 3 quests to go, and one just needs the text finished.

EDIT: It's done! Check under "Campaigns" for the pdf.

Only making them wait 5-6 hours? Much better than me who took about a year to send Phoenix the full set of stuff for Waaagh!

Just looked through it all, looks like some really good stuff. Can't wait to give it a try with my group. Hope to see more soon! :D

that seems alittle harsh seeing as hes a new member granted he is probably trying to get champion status but telling a new guy to go somewhere else is not very welcoming
