Space Crusade marine orders

I'm about to release a beta of my SC PC game and was wondering about marine orders. SC marine orders can only be played at the start of the marine players turn. However, if the marine commander dies, does that mean the marine player can no longer use their order cards?

It doesn't say this in the manual, but that is always how I've played it.

Thoughts?

Yes it's the case : once the captain is dead it's not possible to use order cards.
The squad can go out of the space hulk or try to stay and fight until death comes.
Same thing for the eldars and WHAT ?

SPACE CRUSADE IS COMING ON MY SCREEN !??!
O MY GOD O MY GOD !

I've decided to make this an optional rule, it will be changeable in the Options menu. By default, if a marine commander is dead, the squad will not be able to use any orders.

P.S. The beta will only include the first mission "Seek and Destroy". I'm looking at releasing the beta this weekend.

My thought was if the Commander dies, then another is field promoted to be able to use orders in the squad (you make a list at the start so the next one down is the new leader), his stats don't change. But I'm sure they intended by default, the orders just disappear if he's gone. But do the EFFECT of the orders end the instant he dies? Presumably they just run their course, but no new orders could be given. Sort of like spells cast by the Wizard in Hero Quest. The effect just ends when it ends.

Still, its your game, so you decide, Alien Player.
