Battle Masters Reinforcements Imperial Lords Epansion Pack
The call for reinforcements has gone out and Lord Ensgore of Innesdorf has responded with his retinue. For the Empire!
In 1992 Battle Masters received two expansions for the base game in the form of reinforcement boxes containing a brief rules addendum, a color two sided ad flyer and extra miniatures to bolster your forces.
The forces of the Empire received the Imperial Lords box.
It contained: 1 Lord Knight, 3 Imperial Knights, 5 Men-At-Arms, 10 Archers, 5 Crossbowmen, and 1 cannon with 2 crew. These models are exactly the same molds as the base game and came with green movement trays familiar to those who have the European version of the base Battle Masters game. These expansions were only available in the UK and Germany, Netherlands, France, and Italy (possibly other continental Europe or Australia as well, but I couldn't confirm any further distribution)
the units came with different unit name stickers for their movement trays, shields, and flags than the base game to easily keep them separate on the battlefield. Curiously they also came with mini pennants in addition to the standard knight lance pennant also small sticker on Halberds both not found in the main game (sadly I'm missing most but they can be seen on the box art.)
The unit names vary depending on language but the English names are:
Lord Ensgore of Innesdorf Imperial Lord
Imperial Knights of Innesdorf
Innesdorf Imperial Artillery
Archers of the Golden Boar
Citizen Archers of Innesdorf
Lord Ensgore's Company of Crossbows
Innesdorf Halberdiers
(I usually mount them the other way on the tray to see the names behind the unit.)
