Note: I didn't have icons for cultists, so I sub'd them with the "dark warrior" icon [I will edit this post when I get the Heroscribe icon pack working]

[Insert Quest story line here]

A - The hero's wake in their cells unarmed and striped of armor. Doors are locked. Hero's can attempt to pick the lock using a toolkit (if purchased) or Dwarf may use disarm ability to unlock the door.

Unarmed heros fight bare handed:
:barbarian: A2, D1
:dwarf: A1, D2
:elf: A1, D1
:wizard: A0 (spells only), D1

B - This room is filled with the mangled corpses of the missing villagers. The level of brutality is far beyond normal Greenskins... something is very wrong...

C - The weapon rack has all the Hero's weapons/ and armor. Regular stats restored. Chest in the room is filled with rusty junk.

D - Opening hidden door opens both hidden side of the small corridor to next room. Once the first hero passes through the corridor they cut off from the group by falling rocks.

E - The hero has stumbled upon a long forgotten tomb. Each chest contains 150 gold.

F - This hidden door opens only from the tomb side.

G -healing potion found on the shelf.

Clearly this still needs a bit of work... Like some story ;) We'll keep updating as it comes together.

What do the two Xs signify?

I was told that's how we indicate where the Hero's start?

You'll have to add a note for it in that case.

A - The heroes have per definition not purchased a toolkit as per the rule of no shopping except between chapters.

Also there should be four Xs, one for each hero starting position.

I'd give the wizard 1A after all - and no spells.
How did they even handle unarmed combat in the original quest?

From Quest 6 - Legacy of the Orc Warlord - NA Version

"All of the Heroes' equipment has been taken. They may not use any equipment (weapons, armor, potions, ets.) or cast spells until they locate their equipment. A Hero with no weapons or armor rolls one die to attack and 2 dice to defend."

and EU rules for the same quest

"Because the players have had all their equipment taken, they may not use any equipment that they may have from previous games. Neither the Wizard or the Elf may cast spells until they have found the room where all the equipment has been stored."

In that case I think we should just use either of those established rules.

I'd prefer using the NA rules, since at least it gives the Heroes a tiny chance to fight. the EU rules seem to imply that without weapons, you can't fight or defend at all.

No, in EU rules they are stronger.
An unarmed hero is just a hero without equipment cards. A Barbarian for example, fights with his basic 3 dice attack.
