Just want to say hello and give my compliments to this awesome resource of Heroquest Information. In addition, my Heroquest adventure!
In my younger years Heroquest was one of my favorite boardgames. I had all the expansions available in The Netherlands. Yet... in my younger years I wasn't very neat with my items... and thus, the story of doom begins.
A mighty battle they fought. The wizards of Morcar. It was not enough however and the dog ate them leaving only bits and pieces. The horror! The barbarians sword couldn't handle the earthquakes when in slumber and the legion got melted away by a powerful poison called the wrong paint. Furniture withered away by time, and after many ages only the dungeon and some dice remained. Forgotten...
...Untill. The most unlikely event occurred. I found a complete used version of Heroquest on a market. Played it a few times with friends, but time was again an enemy and the game soon got stashed in the closet. Still complete and still in very good condition.
Then after a few years some new friends that came across my path started the idea to keep a game night once every month. We started with some other boardgames, but I took Heroquest with me just in case. The word fell... "A Heroquest that looks awesome lets play it" And thus a new age of Heroquest began. We liked the game so much that we are now playing it on a monthly base, advancing through quests and having great time.
My love for Heroquest was revived and I started to search for the expansions. In the meantime this Inn is a good way to spend some time. Thank you!
Yours Sincerely,
Inca
