Who wants to participate this time?

I know it is early but that way we can spend the entire second half of the year thinking g on what we make for each other!

Ok!

- It needs to be a model (or models) that is (or are) compatible with Heroquest
- You have to paint it
- You need to be ready to part from it.

Well, rules. Just take care that it is painted and useable with the other HQ models and everything will be fine.

You have a giant that fits in four squares of the HQ board as Monster? perfect.
You have a furniture that is perfect for the challenge? perfect.
You want to part from a squad of black orcs and they fit with the other HQ models? perfect.
You have a special character model that would be perfect as Balur the Fire Mage or as someone else in the storyline, like the Zombie Dwarf? perfect.

As long as it fits with Heroquest and it is painted, everyone will be happy.

I really enjoy seeing what everyone comes up with, it's pretty cool. I don't paint anymore and so I likely wouldn't participate, but I do hope you folks do it this year as I think it's a great tradition.

Debating. Haven't had time to learn to paint yet and I don't know if I will before they'd be due...

However, if I don't I'd be willing to do the draw again so nobody would know who is giving to them.

Just do it!

The fun part is not to get a professionally painted miniature, but getting a gift from one of the people you spend a lot of time talking HQ and other stuff with.
As for the painting part, I also see it as an opportunity to try out something different. As you only have to do 1 mini, you can do something difficult or time consuming. You won't have to do an entire set!

Also take a look at my collection. I cherish them all equally


Now that I think about it... Have we even seen any zombies or mummies in the X-mas X-change? if I recall correctly orcs and chaos warriors are rather popular.
Anybody willing to search the old xx-threads and do a statistic on the distribution of models?
