I've been going about buying inexpensive bulk sets of minis in an attempt to replace minis from expansion sets that are just too costly to buy nowadays.
I've done well enough.
But it's just not the same.
If any of you have extras or repros you're willing to trade or sell, I've got lots of minis for tabletop gaming and homebrews.

I hope to hear from any of you in regard to this particular venture.

Thantos was going to reproduce some of the expansion ones with minis I sent him. You might want to contact him to see if he has an ETA on when those might be available.

I'll do that. Still hopeful for arranging trades and the like as well amongst fellow fans.

Where do you find these bulk mini sets and how do you g about searching for them? They seem to have some pretty interesting figures in them.

Some are just eBay lots. Some are local collectors/tabletop players getting rid of collections. Sometimes I just buy sets of minis for other games, spare parts lists. I got a bunch of D&D, HeroClix and MtG sets that way.

I Google search for cheap minis, mini sets, blogs about buying cheap minis, and generally follow any links I come across. Forum posts on boardgamegeeks and the like.

I've got a couple of weirdo Beastmen:

...that I'd be willing to trade if anyone's interested. I'm looking for a couple Orcs that would work as Big 'Uns, Black Orcs, or an Orc Warlord.

Alternately, if anyone has any of these BattleMasters Chaos Warriors or one of these Ogre minis from the 2003 D&D Board game, I'd love to get my hands on those as well:
