Very nice!
I've played "The Trial" several times, but the last one had a lot of tension. The player was very, very, very unlucky with the dies and, in the end, just the Wizard survived, running for their life after Verag was dead.
He ran from three Chaos Warriors, walking through walls, rolling 4 movement dies and, when He was 2 squares to enter in the staircase's room, a Chaos Warrior reachs.
The scenary was: :wizard: [ ] DOOR :chaoswarrior:
So, the Wizard used Storm, paralyzing the Chaos Warrior, rolled the dies and reachs the staircase. It was a little trying...

Good quest, shame about my companions.

Well, I'm off to post on "The List of Sir Craig" for a new party looking for a Wizzard of my high caliber, no weirdos.

Thanks :D

My gaming group hasn't' gotten together in a while. We've all been busy with life stuff, but we'll head back into the dungeon soon. My wife saw what the Barbarian and Elf expansion were going for on eBay and I told her "no way am I selling my copies....we're gonna get to those quests eventually"

My gaming group met tonight and I offered them some choices from my modest collection (see below). Although HeroQuest was a strong contender, they didn't want to play without my daughter Amanda present which would have necessitated someone controlling more than one hero. We wound up playing Forbidden Island (we all drowned) and Settlers of Catan (I won). We agreed these game were a nice change of pace, but I think they're going to want to revisit the dungeon and kick some orc butt pretty soon.

Even Hero Quest can be too much if it's the only thing you ever play. Mixing it up once in a while is always good. Makes you appreciate HQ more when you've had a small break ;)

Here's the review of Castle Ravenloft I posted: http://forum.yeoldeinn.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=483&start=10#p15505

I'm still willing to give it another try or two. It might be more fun with a larger group.
