Using expansion packs to make others?

Hello

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I can't find a suitable answer...

I have Kellars keep and return of the witch lord, and now I'm considering buying Hasbro's new versions of the other original expansions, i.e. frozen horror, mage of the mirror, against the ogre horde, and wizards of morcar.

Looking at the contents of the new frozen horror and mage of the mirror packs, am I being dense or do you actually get some of the same figures that are used in against the ogre horde, and wizards of morcar? Therefore meaning you could buy frozen horror and mage of the mirror plus some wizards/ogres/cards/tiles/tokens/quest books and then you'd also have against the ogre horde, and wizards of morcar.

Just wondering if I can save £, and not double up on figures?

Thanks in advance

EDIT -

Sorry, I think I've answered this with some further research. It would only kind of work if I were going to play the original against the ogre horde and wizards of morcar, because the new Hasbro versions have more figures than were in the original expansions. Either way I doubt I'd save anything over just buying the against the ogre horde (and WoM when it's out here in the UK) box set.

Just an additional note that the smaller expansions like Prophecy of Tellor can definetley be proxied if you are willing to do a bit of prep work and some sticky cutty pasty. You can usually get the quest books cheap on eBay, have a read and make a missing ingredients list. I've found the bigger expansions a bit too heavily themed - ice, jungle etc which makes the additional components (especially Artefacts and monsters) a bit more tricky to match thematically and mechanically in a homebrew adventure. For that reason I've kept them all apart from the main set. I've mostly taken to writing my own but I am on board and waiting for the Wizards of Morcar to arrive...

If you are interested I have some one shot quests and a full expansion here... All designed to be used with minimal kit and a few proxies...

The original Frozen Horror uses the same mold of Mercenaries from Wizards of Morcar.

The original Mage of the Mirror uses the some Ogre Warrior molds for their Ogres. You'd still be lacking the 4 Wizards from Wizards of Morcar and the 3 boss Ogres. The missing cards and tiles can all be printed out here.
