Lego Heroquest!

OH my goodness! I was looking around ebay searching for custom minifigures (I'm a collector) and I passed an amazing barbarian minifigure. The thought then came to me: Heroquest out of Legos! It would be amazing! Plus, everything is there! There are custom made goblins, and in lego castle there are trolls that would make great orcs! The only thing that might look different is the Firmirs, and that's not even a huge deal! Let me know what you think

Having had lousy Kenner Star Wars figs in the 70's":

I can't hack the Lego Star Wars figs /sets of today. I mean, we knew that Kenner was cheap ass sucky stuff compared to G.I. Joes:

But it's all we had. However, This:

Seems far better to me than this:

So I just couldn't possibly get into Lego HQ. Tho I do see it is neat, and does have its own charm...

Well, the lego you put up was indeed a model, and not really for Lego Minifigure use. The real ones are much more detailed. But I do see your point. It would probably cost more to make a lego heroquest then it would be to just buy one on ebay.

You are so right! Heroquest is "irreplacable." I made the horrible mistake of selling my husband's Heroquest games (both UK and USA) along with all the expansions. I have discovered just how irreplacable Heroquest is. I have had such difficulty replacing everything I sold, I have had to settle for some expansions minus the boxes. I know I will never do anything as ignorant as that again, I have definitely learned my lesson :smack:

 You sold all the HeroQuest!? I don't know how I would react to something like that happening with all my HQ stuff. :bites-lip: I'd be totally.. hm, looks like we may need a broken heart smilie.

I did  and I have never been so sorry. We went through some issues and I did some really stupid things, :? most of which was selling all the Heroquest games and expansions  I came to my senses....too late :( and have tried to replace all of the Heroquest games and expansions. I have suceeded for the most part via eBay; however, I am still without the boxes for some of the expansion packs. I am and will continue to keep a look out for them, I will replace everything I sold. I was so wrong for selling them.

Just to let you know.....L.V. has forgiven me my stupidity, he wasn't at all happy, but I begged his forgiveness for doing such an foolish and hateful thing. I am very grateful that he was willing to be so forgiving. I have a wonderful husband!!
