Taught an ex-girlfriends kids to play chess using the old HQ pieces.

My son is in the chess club, so figured he would enjoy playing chess with the same kind of set up. Although I have a lot more pieces now, plus some extra HQ kind of stuff.







White side:
Skellys = Pawns
Mummies = Castle/Rook
Zombies = Knights
Skelly Archer = Bishop
Chaos Sorcerer = Queen
Chaos Necromancer = King

Black/Green side:
Goblins with sword = Pawns
Fimirs = Castle/Rook
Orc with sword = Knights
Orc Archer = Bishop
Warhammer Orc = King
Gorgon = Queen

That is so cool. I was just thinking about this idea about a week ago.

My cousin and I set up a game like this when we were 10.
Sat there and went, "Remember how chess is played"? "Nah!"
Then we played HeroQuest.
