A mercenary (EU, red) with two weapons 3-4 €, a chaos warrior 1-1,50 € here in Germany.
A set of 12 mercenaries with 24 weapons mostly goes for 25 or 30 €.

Does anyone have an estimate in what's a reasonable price to expect to pay for some of these original miniatures for the expansions that are rare? Billdask's sent me a package but I still need to acquire some others. Understand that they won't be cheap but still don't want to pay too much for them as that only drives the price up for others.

Optical illusion? FH is a big guy, and without anything to compare it to you lose the sense of scale in that picture. Try this:

Nono, compare giant wolfs, and frozen horrors base.

TMU is right, the frozen horror's base isn't in fact double the size of a regular HQ base. It's significantly smaller. Especially in width.

It doesn't need to be any larger, maybe? The giant wolf needs the leverage to balance out the top of the mini

FH base is 1½ x ¾ compared to a single square mini. It is very strange. I expect the original intent was to make it 2 x 1, but the miniature was too big and they scaled it down. But that's just speculation. Who really knows?
