Four our next trick, I agree with Anderas' offer of a quick movement to the entry point. I would propose Swordsman in the lead and Barbara protected at the end (poor crossbowman just in front of Barbara, please).

I see form the update that the Crossbowman would not be able to step back. I propose to convert it to an adjacent attack with 2CD, which is then blocked.

Amend the turn for the following:
