I shot coke out of my nose at some. So, there's that.
I know I'm not alone in my love of provocational humor (*wink, wink*, Tasos), and several people here need to think about humour and how it works, at least in my opinion.
I want to have fun in this forum, but there's two or three people here - only TWO or THREE at the most among more than a THOUSAND - who make it so I have to think on every word I type. Most of the time it boils down to me or some other guy being stoned for a mysogynistic cavepig.

Maybe your just taking any gender criticism of the hobby as a direct attack on you.

Oh, believe you me, you do not make it unfun for me.
The opposite might just be the case.Once was Mortimer wrote:knightkrawler wrote:I want to have fun in this forum, but there's two or three people here - only TWO or THREE at the most among more than a THOUSAND - who make it so I have to think on every word I type. Um, nah... my opinion (which may or may not surprise you) of exactly this topic here, which has been discussed before, is to be read here: http://forum.yeoldeinn.com/viewtopic.php?f=205&t=3102&hilit=feminist+miniatures
In regards to feminism, I'm ready to be enlightened:
How is it that I work a physically - not too hard job - where it is better to be (physically) fast, agile, and effective, to have a healthy amount of spatial awareness and quick solution finding, without all of these being prerequisites but merely points of comparison among employees, that not one woman works in my company (at any point in time we are between 6 and 12 men doing this job)?
All employees in that company earn the exact same wage, whatever they work (that's policy and absolutely fine with me - there's different jobs for different talents), but if an average woman would work my particular job, she would do it hopelessly sub-par, not because I say so, but because this average woman would not be able to be anywhere near as effective as me, for various and manifold reasons (this has of course been tried and tested - the result is above). It boils down to the differences of mind and body, in my experience.
Now, the question is, on what theoretic ground would this average woman be paid the same as me if she would be instated in the same job I do, even though I will be three times as effective as she would be? (As said, wage equality is company policy, but some jobs are just not made for all genders and sexes, mind and body builds).
This is a serious question I would like to hear a feminist theory answer on. It's not a trap, just a lack of profound knowledge on my side.

My original question was to feminist theory, not my masculine experience.
