Playing a series that Puck has written called the Lost World

Latest episode "The Cave of Dieing"

Wandering thru', knocking off the odd monster with ease when Trogar The Black (with red Mohican) opens the door and there stands "Mummy Ogre the Goth", (my missus really needs to change her wardrobe!!).

Frantic battles ensue (any skulls on the Hero's dice?) body points disapearing faster than the Jumbalya when with a quick Heal Body followed by a Heroic Brew and Trogar delivers the fatal swing.

Next room, who turns up, but Grimgor Ironside the Mutant Orc. ducking and diving with the Blinding light of Siverdisc the Chief Goblin in their eyes (his "dome" is so polished that you lose 1 dice when attacking and defending when he is around)

Trogar can handle this big,bad boy on his own though.

Trogar has a quiet word with Valmir the Elf and with a blast of Swift Wind on him from Gronar Halfstaff, Valmir nips round the corner and with one shot from his Elvin Bow. the dazzle of Silvedisc is quickly extinguished.

Trudging wearily on (where is the way out of this cave???) Our brave Heros face the final challange, The Cave's Sorcer and his Chaos spells. Gronar Halfstaff hastily retreats, his realm as the Master of Magic look like it is coming to the end (no healing spells, potions or other grog left now) he leaves the Strength of Life as a parting gift and the rooms shimmers and shakes , things go blurry (proof is in the pic), yet it is enough to distract the Sorcer and allow Valmir to bring this epic battle through the cave to a happy end.

Dragging their weapons, counting the steps, Our galant Hero's wearily drag themselves out to rest, re-couperate, re-arm and fight another day (all except Grudig Bloodlust the Dwarf, who skips along (skipping Dwarf's, now there's an image to forget), never seemed to be around when the action's happening did he!!

Sir Declan is away on R&R, his place at The Knights of the Oblong Table is taken by Milord Pierre.

. After deciding who will lead the way, our Brave Knights sally forth. Sir Diggory stumbles upon a grave, and decides to search it, poor fool! Up leaps a Skeleton, and battle ensues. After a brief & bloody tussle, the Skel succumbs, and Sir Diggory pouches 200 Gold. Another grave is found, and Sir Dylan goes through the motions, with the same result. They journey on, & Sir Hixer The Fixer, raises a W-M, in the form of The Elf Ice Maiden, rather scantily clad, (look away here, Flesh). This Maiden is armed with a whip, (I kid you not), shades of Bondage! All Heroes in adjacent squares come under the Lash, when she attacks. (This is dreamt up by a 10 year old, what do they learn at School these days)!

Poor Ol’ Hixer comes under the Lash first, but some nifty foot-work, locally known as The Boston Two-step, saves him from serious damage. Hixer, on his turn, chases & kills the fair maid. All the doors in this Quest were trapped, so Hixer had to go first to clear the way with his Toolkit. Luckily, our Brave Knights choose the best route, and managed to complete the Quest, with pouches full and only minor scratches.
Lunch was taken, I introduced Puck to the Chilli-Humus, which he seemed to like, he followed this with bacon sandwiches. I went for Corned Beef & Whole Grain Mustard, a tasty Combo. Also a large jar of Garlic stuffed olives disappeared, mostly into young Puck.
Suitably reinforced, gastronomically speaking, I took Puck & his Heroes on a further search for Sir Ragnars bones. He has a new Hero, Black, the Chaos Warrior. Once again, they came face to face with------ the dreaded Orc Cymbals!

Fierce fighting took place, and alas! Poor Cymbals was slain (again). The climax was a meeting in Morcars Ossary, where Baron Boner held court.

Puck delivered a cunning foul underhand blow, by putting the good Baron to Sleep! A full attack from all four plucky Heroes laid the Baron low, but beware young Puck, The Baron Will Return

Have had so time out from questing (puck's got a girlfriend, bless him) so decided to paint up the army.

Puck was here Tuesday, half-term hols. We played a couple of Knights of the Oblong Table Quests. I took Milord Pierre, as Sir Declan is still on R&R. Sir Hixer The Fixer, led the way. He searches for Treasure and draws a W-M, a Spirit Rider. We haven't met one of these before, sort of an Upmarket Skeleton. Hixer suffers two hits, but Sir Dylan, on his turn, rushes in & kills it off.

Hixer meets a Wight, which has four body points. He slashes away, and misses completely. Milord Pierre runs in, and gives the Wight a nasty scratch. Sir Diggory attacks, and brings it to its bony knees. The battle sways to & fro. Merlin the Wizard plays "Courage" on Diggory, who finishes off the Wight

Sir Dylan meets the dreaded Graveyard Keeper. Hixer, the Running Fool, dashes in to the attack. Again, a complete miss. The Graveyard Keeper attacks, but Hixer defends well. Sir Dylan of the Elfin Ways, attacks with the "Genie" spell. Only two skulls! The GK does the Kansas City Shuffle, and evades one of them. A fierce and prolonged battle wages, but the GK finally Succumbs. The room, by this time, is knee deep in blood, so our trusty Knights bandage their wounds, sup their potions, and slowly re-cuperate. Milord Pierre steals the sword from the tomb. We stagger on, and after killing a nasty Ghost, (Caspar, I hear you say)? we finally find deliverance.
