I have been messing around with some gradients in Photoshop just testing things. Don't know if I can use only PS or have to do some Illustrator too mixed in. This may look like an easy job but this is a huge undertaking to completely redo an entire logo from top to bottom. Might take me a little while... As far as the rock in the background goes, I think that might be a lost cause. Its very pixelated. I remember my scan was the same way so it has to be the original art, not the scan itself.

Wow, boy, don't bother! At that size, I'll be happy with the simple scan cut out. I want to print it on a shirt, so a bit of oldschool dots are no problem.

This could become something everyone wears if a Ye Olde Inn meeting occurs. Even if it's only a few people that get together it'd be neat to see each one wear their shirt with the logo on it. Either way a retro HQ shirt appeals to me.

As Sjeng said the dots of the printing are ok (in my opinion the dots are awesome).

If you'll do the cutting it will be great to have the final image. But, I think the rocks are part of the title and it is nice to keep them.
