Don't know if I might have missed it, but I think it would be cool to see a section for CUSTOM RULESETS people use. For example I have added D&D weapon damage, rather than a skull is a hit unless blocked. Although I do use original dice system for # of attacks or odds of sucsessful attack, I like the amount of wepon damage as a per-chance.Of course this means greater BP #'s. As well as so many other options I've been implimenting Just a thought for those who would be willing to pool ideas for more depth of game-play.

Hope this is found worthy as a topic, just something I'd like to see.

Google map localisation of users !

Postby Maike05 » April 27th, 2011, 7:18 pm

Hi, this message is more for drathe, but I also wanna see what do you think about it.

I would love to see on Ye Olde Inn Home page a google map locating all the users that agree to be on the map. The system look pretty straightforward to apply (http://code.google.com/intl/fr-FR/apis/maps/articles/communitymap.html) and we will end up with this :

So we will have a map that is editable by the community and that is locating potential players in your area ! I would be a lot more easier to contact somebody then.

What do you think of such improvement? :)

Sounds really good to me.
But as much as I understand, drathe hosts this site on a home server, so I doubt SQL is installed, which would be needed for this kind of map.
I dunno.

Have a look ;)

JemyM's heroquest.no-ip.org is run on a home server. You may be thinking of that Website. The database for the forum here runs on SQL. I'll look into this idea when I have an opportunity and if there's enough demand.

I would like to see more female noodity here at YeOldeInn

There won't be any on the Website, as they have nothing to do with HeroQuest. If you're meaning around the forum, then as long as they're fantasy gaming related and not of a pornographic nature, they won't infringe on our host's terms of service. Otherwise you're welcome to pay for the upgrade to a wholly dedicated server where it'll be permissible. I personally can't afford a dedicated server, nor would I shell out that kind of dough just to have pornographic images on the forum. Especially as there's lots of it readily available a single Google search away.

But I want my female nudity and HeroQuest info at the same site. :( You ruin all our fun.
