None of this happens at my games. I must be doing something wrong. I'm coming over to play in yours.

You're a guy, right!? Methinks I'll have to circumvent your dying second...

Yes. but hey, don't knock anyone's dancing skills before seeing it. Just sayin'

Yes, but can the pole handle it?

Most deaths occur in the last leg of the Quest. Losers can sit in anticipation and hope their allies save their stuff.

It's not about the dancing skills... I am afraid of your naked skills.

And that's mostly true. We're talking about 10, maybe 20 minutes mostly. That is a sandwich and coffee making timeframe.

Someone needs to make a chart of the average number of steps each Hero has in each Quest when they die.

How do you handle this?

According to the rules, if someone is separated from the group upon death, different room, corridor, etc. They automatically loose all equipment.
If they die in a room or corridor, while other heroes are alive, they keep their equipment and gold?

From the second paragraph of p.10 EU rules:

Eliminated characters and monsters are immediately removed from play. Any
Equipment or gold the eliminated character had may be picked up by another
character, who searches for treasure in the room or passage in which the
character was eliminated. However, the evil wizard player may also claim the
Epuipment and gold if, on his next turn he moves a monster into the same room
or passage, in which the character was eliminated.

Ive played as Morcar twice. I add extra monsters to the rooms and give certain monster extra unique card sets to give the heroes and champions a chance to prove their titles. :P

The elven archer is a real challenge at the end of a hall. The men at arms are also a way to keep players guessing as enemy combatants. :elf:
