they will probably have a few minis and a few cards, some examples of what the board and a quest or two might look like. look at Myth, a game very similar vein to HQ that was successfully funded. the kick starter ended in April and were seeing some the final sculpts for monsters and things now. its on course for delivery in January. I've been looking at lots of kickstarters, don't think I've seen any that have a finished game ready to go into production. development takes a long time and a lot of money. the kickstarters help pay for that.

But they have nothing now, and they can only blame theirselves if this kickstarter doesn't get air under its wings!

Yes, it does take a long time to get a finished game put together. I've been working on mine, in its current form,
for 2 years - haven't done a lot on it lately, mind you...it was supposed to be finished and up on kickstarter back
in May 2013. Ah, well...the best laid plans, right?

As for how much it cost - that is part of doing business. If you're going to venture into game design and game publishing,
you put the game together and hope you make your money back by selling it. You don't toss some half-$@# something that
you just threw together at your audience and hope they like it.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned - maybe I'm not current with how business is done these days - but I don't think that is what
kickstarter is supposed to be. Kickstarter is supposed to be a way for very small companies and individuals get their stuff
out to the public so they can get their start. If a larger company is planning to use it, they should see it simply as a better
means of making their money back - if they get their full funding, maybe they've already paid back a lot of the development
cost.

It doesn't take a Ph.D in business to know this.

There is absolutely no reason on earth for them not to have a presentable concept of their version of the game ready to show, right now. If they haven't even made a mock-up, or typed up rules, why the fraggle should we trust them to make a game at all? Are they not showing us these, or have they not even made them? You think maybe they've just been pulling gimmicks out of their asses this whole time?

The funny thing is, to make it a 25th anniversary edition it's not entirely necessary to start the shindig in 2013. Granted, it would have to be finished in 2014, but that's another year of planning, creating, writing... So much to do in so much time. I don't get it.
Think they've noticed?

Did anyone watch the whole thing? I couldn't get through more than a few minutes.

Any new info?
