The bases are custom yes. And a little thicker than the usual bases. Plus un put some velvet under the bases to avoid chipping the paint and scratching the glossy AHQ boards ( yes I know... stupid.)

If it's something you care about it's not dumb at all. That's like saying putting floormats in cars or taking shoes off inside a house. It's going to get dirty but it helps protect and extends the longevity of your game system.

I don't think his skills have gotten this good with just practice alone. There's some sort of innate unlearnable and untransferable obsession ability to paint that he has and is mocking us with. I envy his ability and respect it even though his minis at night now haunt my dreams and mock my minis.

Hi dear folks here at Ye Inn. I managed to finish 12 Skaven warrior form the AHQ box. I think they came out fairly well despite their poor look in bare plastic.
Excuse the quality of the picture, very dull compar to the real furry guys.

Fantastic! Seeing Scavens like this makes me appreciate them more. Something about the colors give them so much more "personality."

It's four weapon variants and, I think, also four shield designs. Could be five shield designs.
