What are you working on today?

Currently working on my Skaven clanrats. Painted the bodies, basecoated the arms, still need to highlight the skin and add some metal scrapes on the blades.
I've made 5 instandmold molds from a HQ base, and filled them with milliput. I need 20 for the skaven, so 4 days
I've also used my inverted mold that I had made for my female barbarian (she has a slot. under her feet.) and filled that around the edges, and then pressed in the Reaper travelling monk mini. Traced the cobblestones on his base. When this dries, he should have a HQ-shaped base with the cobblestones on it. The other minis are waiting their turn to be based similarly.

Now on to finishing those arms, and then paint some shields. Glueing them together before adding some quickshade, and then drybrushing the bases in grey tones. Then it's a simple matter of sticking them on the bases, and done! I might need another day for the Skaven, and then a few more days for the bases, since milliput takes a while to harden enough to paint.

Stuck them in a mold made with instantmold from a HQ base, stuffed it with milliput, sculpted the top of the base. Works well enough, and fits HQ wonderfully.

My Forbidden Island minis. Still have to base the guy with the map, but I need a similar base.

And finally my Skaven wip: they need a thin coat of quickshade here and there, then I need to glue their shields on, and paint the bases before sticking them on.

Don't worry I still don't have a lot of confidence in what I'm doing so far. Its all part of learning and figuring it out. At least you're starting out better than I did by getting actual miniature paints.

I'm working on getting my tiles printed and set up to use in a future gaming session.
