I am translating the North American rulebook into German, taking in my own houserules rule modifications, additions, plus optional rules that will be in light grey boxes.
Almost finished including formatting.
The rest is gonna take a while from here, cause my vacation's over.

Then on to translating the NA quest book with tweeks if and where needed, including "The Arena" intended to be the introductory quest in a seperate foldout for new players.
(By the way: Does anybody know who to thank for for that quest? "The Arena" by one Jacob Busby - I hope he doesn't mind my translating it into German and tweaking it an eensy-weensy to fit my rules).

Then a little playtesting the optionals and mods;

Then the Hero classes (16 of them) with skills and character cards;

Then the original cards (already translated and modded) and my additions for skills and spells.

And that's just gonna be the base game. I'm planning the same for all the official quest packs.
Thought I'd tell y'all...

holy moly!

allright: Goblin-King: congratulations! Totally earned that best graphics prize. edit: tried to play it, but the link is just an image. How do I play it?

and BAMF: that sounds awesome! I'd almost do a similar thing myself, but in English, if I had the time... You aren't gonna make that German game in English too, are you? ;)
The grey boxes with new/house-rules is a great idea! That way you can easily see what's been added to the Original game, and choose whether to use them or not yourself :D

Who knows when I'm bound to burn out? It's a plan, but I can't promise anything...
The least I wanna do is translate my finished rulebook back into English or present my changes and where to insert them at least.

Shitload of work, that!

And the grey boxes are really great!
I have them for optional or alternative rules and orange ones for very important passages.

I also chose to mark gamemaster-specific passages with :blackshield: instead of merely a Z for Zargon;
accordingly, :whiteshield: for Hero specific passages instead of an H.

It's all turning out way more beautiful than I thought and formatting-wise very close to the American instruction booklet.

Make the walls as low as possible, or you will be playing with the board on the floor and you standing over it looking down.
