Official clarification would be great. I'd have to study the surrounding context of the booklet and card(s) to decide if I agree these are true errata or have a logical explanation within their presentation. In theory (and I generally agree with this approach) every new rule mechanic not found in the base game rules ought to be explained within the expansion (or online quest) in which it appears. Even if names are similar, it doesn't have to adhere to how it was in any other expansion. It's one thing to say refer back to an earlier quest to understand how a mechanic is supposed to work in a current quest, but it's quite another to expect someone to refer to another expansion (one they might not own, even if they could look up the PDF online) to explain a rule within that one. Sometimes they just forget. At least with adding mercenaries from Frozen Horror into Mage of the Mirror implies you also have the rules for those figures in that other expansion so you know how to use them, or you decide not to (or don't own it) and no problem.

Yes, this also means a lot of extra space is taken up re-explaining the same rules over and over again (entrance/exit doors, passing potions, armory re-selling, large monsters, multi-attacks). First Light tried to explain a few extra things but even there most of the "new" stuff (added since the game system) is explained in the quest booklet, not the rulebook (implied as the "universal" or general base rules upon which everything else is added or an exception to).

Yeah JoD describes "incapacitation" as the state of a hero (or mercenary or animal companion by extension) that has been reduced to zero body points, under two optional modes ("heroic" or "story") where they have another chance to be healed, on location, by another character.

Thus the incapacitation in this sense would only work if there was a bad guy in the same quest with the Minotaur, who has the ability to heal them. Zero mind points means "shock" and Doug Hopkins did indeed confirm that in theory, a monster can go into shock (possible in ATOH) though it doesn't apply to monsters that started already with 0 mind points (undead). There's no way for mind points to be restored to bad guys in the official rules. But in theory a monster could be healed by another monster.

It's just the usage "incapacitated" that is interesting. Because we know what Sleep does... they can't move, attack, or defend themselves (they can only try to resist the spell immediately then on subsequent turns). A Tempest spell merely makes the affected character lose their next turn, it doesn't stop them from defending or doing anything else they could do "off turn."

I haven't studied the text of WoM well enough to see what specific possibilities might apply to the Minotaur in the instance(s) it appears, but perhaps there's a clue there.

Regarding the Future Sight (and any other card) I would pay attention to what it says and what it doesn't say. I think the point of Future Sight (maybe this comes from discussions of how it might work in the Wizard Quest Pack) is that it applies to a full roll (not a single die) and it just means a single re-roll of a set of dice (like an attack roll, defend roll, or movement roll). If it says "until the end of the turn" something like that, this implies it would apply to more than one possible roll. So you have to defend against four attackers, then you get a re-roll on each one, accepting the second outcome. That's how I see it working. Of course Doug could clarify that maybe they just intended it for a single re-roll, period.

The Treasure Horde one to me means you draw three cards and accept or reject any of them you wish. So if you drew 3 hazards or wandering monsters, you could just ignore all of them (a greater benefit from the original which implied you have to encounter all three cards in order, regardless of what they are). So if you reject a wandering monster that card goes to the bottom of the treasure deck and no monster is placed, etc.

The EarthQuake tile I would treat how the card says. Yes, it's a pit, but whatever it says that's different from a pit, treat it that way.

Facebook Ye Olde Inn member P.H. has reported a small aesthetical mistake on page 26 of First Light questbook. Apparently, stairway icon shown in the map should be rotated 90º anti-clockwise to thematically represent better that the stairs go down up to the map floor, since the mosnters are supposed to go down before entering the board.

I recently detected (as I shown here) an aesthetical failure I think has the English edition of Wizards of Morcar's questbook. The sentence saying in the cover of the book that it has been designed by Stephen Baker is missing, however the rest of languages (Spanish, Italian, German and French) has it written in the book. I assume the first version to be printed of the book was the English one, and they realized later that Mr. Baker credit was missing and corrected it in the rest of the geography.

Oh wow, that's so interesting. If you could share with us a picture of the entire questbook cover would be great, also to check the reference number if it had changed.

On the other side, of course thanks for your words and your support to my channel. I have several videos in queu but yes I have plans to also make later one podcast with my recommended play order, as announced.

Yeah, thanks you!

Here I attach your picture! It looks like the questbook reference has not changed from previous version (ref. G1504) but the main artwork seems to had been cropped a bit more in the new one (original questbook also shown as reference):
