Some words may be censored on the forum. But each member may turn the word censor off for themselves: User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit display options -> Enable word censoring: Y/N.

Back on topic, I've been wasting a perfectly good vacation painting my 3-year-old daughter's room. That's a dreaded prospect in Taiwan, as I'm up against something called "wall cancer", the result of cheap cement and time. Still, victory is nearly mine, and with a benefit. While emptying her future wardrobe of my gaming stuff I discovered a hand-made quest book I wrote about 10 years back for a solo Barbarian romp. I stopped at 6 Quests, but had a few more planned. If I ever get the time and figure out how to get Heroscribe working, I just may post it as an attachment. Meanwhile, I'll get a nostalgic re-read.

I just joined the site. I haven't played in more than a year and am just now getting back into HeroQuest. I am really enjoying all the clever add-ons and projects. Thanks everyone!

Years ago, a friend of mine was playing with a handheld French/English translator. I asked her to type in, "Mange mon merde." The translator couldn't return the word "merde" and she decided to look it up online. When I asked her what it said, she responded with, "Lemony goodness."

The forum censor actually does more than censor some profanity. It also replaces certain acronyms. Such as I-I-R-C, I-M-H-O, O-M-G, R-O-T-F-L-M-A-O etc.
