Hello, is it possible to install a Tapatalk plugin so that people who wish to can follow the forum via push alerts on their phone

Were a plug in to be installed, drathe would need to do it. Unfortunately, that isn't a likelyhood.

Updating of the Inn became problematic when new support for this site changed. In order to update to a new version offered by the server, key parts of the Inn would need to have been dropped, most notably the Gallery and the dice mod used by the Play-By-Post room. One of our members has devoted quite a bit of effort updating the Inn from the ground up, but his new version remains unfinished in a pre-beta state, and at this time further work is suspended. (There was little response to his call for volunteer assistance.) Hopefully, this project will see a form of completion in the future, but we're talking donated time so there is no telling. Bottom line, the administrator hasn't actively worked on changes for this site for quite a while, but he generously continues to let it operate as is.

Posting a request here in this room to be reviewed later is the best that can be done as of today, so thanks for the suggestion. If things go well, perhaps the plug-in will be implemented some time in the future.

The forum is old, highly customised, and probably not compatible with Tapatalk, so would need a huge overhaul to support it. Given that drathe hasn't even done something as quick as making new forums for the new content, it's unlikely he would do something that would require significantly more effort.

You can choose topics you want to send email alerts when anything new is posted. I know it's not the same thing, but it's something.
