AGAINST THE OGRE HORDE discussion

Based on what I see with the pictures, I suspect Shield and Potion Tokens are power-ups used in the area. They have a common backing and placed faced down so that when a figure stands on it, the power-up is activated akin to the the power-up tiles from HeroScape.

Ah interesting, please explain more how that works for those of us who still haven't played the master/advanced rules for HS yet.

Interesting we see some tiles that show a skull, black shield, or white shield, with or without multipliers. I'm guessing those are attack (or defense) modifiers for the Arena mode alongside the potion tiles? We see the card back for Dominate... ShapeShift with Doug's clarifications in the text clear as day. The Lifeforce card (no surprise there)...

Reverse side of "power-up" (?) tile is the image of some kind of skeleton (?) man with a prybar.

"Mind Blast" has had a name change (I figured they might do that, as they've been trying to avoid name duplication across expansions... which means Cloak of Shadows will probably be changed if/when Wizards of Morcar gets remade). Can't see the full name... "urst" maybe "Mind Burst"? Psychic Burst? Fred Drust? (new celeb tie-in, j/k)

We still could use a fan unboxing to see inside!

So, according to such low-res picture the Wolf companion from AtOH seems to have the following stats: M10, AD5, DD2, BP5, MP1

Snowdash from 'Into the Northlands' had M10, AD3, DD2, BP5, MP1 ... which means AH has beefed a bit the Wolf in AtOH, mmm... I liked the Attack Dice of Into the Northlands because I understood this is a regular wolf, not a Giant one like the ones from MoM, so maybe they have gone a bit far with 5 Attack Dice. Just my first feeling of course.

According to recent leaked pictures, fortunatelly I was mistaken and the final Wolf companion stat is 3 Attack Dice, the same as Snowdash from Into the Nothlands online quest!

There's also an * on attack dice explained underneath. The image is a little too grainy to be sure, but I think it reads, "The Wolf may attack diagonally."
