Ah, an astute observation, perhaps you're right. I suppose the Druid would therefore be along, accompanying Crypt of Perpetual Darkness, they'll have to use a Red Polar Warbear for Shapeshift form.

That would be awesome! Although it wouldn't kill them to make a giant were-bear mini for her. I'm sure they can reuse it later down the line

That's really cool.

Both pre-ordered.

I like the translucent models in SQT. They are perfect for the spirity quests. So that's all the monsters in Q8 and the Orcs in Q9. I would also use them for all the monsters in Q14 The Spire of the Spirits. It is also appropriate to use the female Dread sorcerer for the Spirit Queen herself.

Just to point the following about number of cards included in the new boxes, not sure if a picture of all of them has been taken in Essen or not:

POT features 14 cards are included in the box:

Attending to the Mythic Tier box material this expansion should have included the following:

5 Equipment cards (4 Potions from Alchemist's Shop and 1 Wand card)
8 Artifact cards (all of them the Spell Scrolls shown at the end of the questbook, no cards for Rod of Telekinesis nor Ring of Fortitude because they were already included in the Game System box)
1 Hero card for the Warlock
3 Warlock Spell cards.

It should be a total of 17 cards, so I guess they have reduced the number of Spell Scroll cards to just 5 instead of 8, hopefully they took care about the errata they had in the original version (they should have included a Lighning Bolt Spell Scroll and deleted the Water of Healing one, for example), and probably Courage, Fire of Wrath and Tempest ones have been also deleted because they would be already included in the SQT box, probably. This had been a risky decision because not all owners of POT pack should have also bought a copy of SQT, but I bet that's what they did.

SQT features 15 cards are included in the box:

Attending to the Mythic Tier box material this expansion should have included the following:

5 Equipment cards (4 Potions from Alchemist's Shop and 1 Rapier card)
6 Artifact cards (3 Spell Scrolls shown at the end of the questbook -Courage, Fire of Wrath and Tempest-, 1 Anti-Poison Quill, 1 Dust of Disappearance, 1 Rabbit Boots, no cards for Fortune's Longsword, Phantom Blade, Spell RIng and Orc's Bane because they were already included in the Game System box)
1 Hero card for the Bard
3 Bard Spell cards.

It should be a total of 15 cards, so seems correct. However, it would be really good seeing a new Equipment card for the SPEAR, because one is found in such adventure but its rules were not described in the quest notes. Well, probably they corercted it at least there, in the questbook (hopefully).

My two cents.

Yeah, the new boxes do not include any actual new feature. More known minis except for they are transparent, more dice in other colours, but nothing else, unfortunatelly.

In my humble opinion Hasbro has strengthten their strategy with mass market and EU countries like mine allowing access to part of Mythic Tier material, however they have lost a bit of credibility inside the crowdfunding backers and those ones like me that thought they were going to introduce new tiles, complementary gender Heroes for Bard and Warlock, and some character miniatures for the Spirit Queen or Fellmarag for example.

Yes, I think tiles and a Spirit Queen or Felmark minis would be a given. But like I have said many times before, Hasbro is AH' boss and they are very much into easy re-use. Reuse is all over their action figure lines like the plague.

I'm sure the AH guys aren't to blame. They probably fought to include the dice and translucent minis just so some aspect of this release could be new (in a sense). I'm sure if the bosses at Hasbro had their way, it would have been more of a straight rerelease.

Maybe AH will correct this in the future and release an expanded hero pack with gender swapped warlock, bard, druid and maybe a mini for the druid's animal form as a bonus. But who knows?

Still seems hilarious to me that a pack of minis, cards and dice costs LESS than six dread veil dice and a dice mat LOL

I agree on the tiles. I would have liked an arena tile.

But the Spirit Queen IS the alt sculpt female Dread Sorceress.

And Melar.. Fellmarak .. Felmark…. Whatever his name is.. the orange Zargon’s Flame empowered Abomination. And the Fire Demon in PoT quest 4 of PoT is the orange translucent gargoyle. They gave us unique minis for every special character. Yes, unique sculpts would have been nice… but this way, they can get the mythic content into everyone else’s’ hands and keep the Questbooks the same as they were before.

I just gave a second look to the new boxes and they still seems like a easy cash grab from AH. The coloured miniatures are barely usable (some can, other dont) but only in one or two quests. Two heroes I dont like (I hate the idea of good orcs and I dont like the Warlock miniature so I got some replacement miniatures for them). No cardboard or any mew sculpts? The dices are cool but I'm not paying 35 euros each plus shipping for what they are offering here. Double pass.
