Playing around with lighting

Crafted a few more dead trees today!

Here are a few new game props I highly recommend. Spellscrolls from skeletonkey. Just got one the other day and love it. Really really cool product. Epic artwork, textured pergament like paper, perfect size. Just supercool to hand out for players.

I have my players not get any magic in the game for free. They have to find it and learn it. So once they find something, with these spellscrolls they have to even figure out what spell it is. Its easy but still, fun little twist cause it simulates the fact that they have to learn their spells.

I just get a kick out of epic, well made game props. Its such an immersion boost!

Here is Burning Hands

Here is another really cool new addition I can only highly recommend! Dwarven gold and silver bars made by FantasyCoin. These big bars are HEAVY. Ingraved runes and dwarvensymbols, huge and hefty, feel cold and heavy in the hand and have a great "cling" sound.

So after researching tabletop buildings I came across tabletopworld a while ago. Its a small company in Croatia run by two guys that make these insanely detailed miniature houses They got raving reviews everywhere, considered to be the best out there. I recently bought one of their smallest buildings, the cottage and when it arrived I understood why they get such a hype. INSANE level of detail, all cast in resin. You can take of the roof and the inside is sculpted as well. I am sold on their stuff, epic quality!

So here it is, work in progress painting on the cottage. Still a few more little steps I wanna do. You can go absolutely nuts painting these. They even sculpted the nails (!) in the wooden planks. First time I used a little bit of AK weathering effect paint (wood) and I really like it! |_P

Made a mountainboard

Gonna use it for outside mountain or underdark encounters, chase scenes, puzzles etc . I will craft rockformations and hazards for the board, so I can use it in multiple different ways each time. Once the heroes solve the board and advance I can reset it and rebuild the next part of the scenery.

You are very prolific Weltenlaeufer! I love everything about your set up.
The scrolls in particular are a really cool touch. Keep posting this stuff, it’s great.
