It would appear to repair/recover one's mind is the costly part of the elements needed to brew such a potion. As there is only one other potion that I'm aware of and it costs 800 gold to replace all mind and body points, so yes 500 may be a bit steep, but to be able to recover your wits, it may be worth it.

But then I'm an evil Zargon when my players find their way back to town where the armory or alchemy shop are located, they get 2d6 items for the equipment deck that are available, and the alchemy shop hasn't opened yet, but when it does it will have 1d6 plus to be drawn from a deck and 1d6 healing potions available for them to purchase.

Now that we should be learning the full contents of Rise of the Dread Moon any day now... I wonder when the dates and first reveals of Prophecy of Telor will be? It's still a long time till GenCon...

FIRESTORM SPELL.... is there an official errata when the bearer has gained this spell (mentioned on page 18)?

My party of heroes is just about done with Prophecy of Telor and have played the guestbook essentially "as written" making corrections for the Errata listed here on Ye Olde Inn in the Errata thread. I gave the hero Firestorm when they finished Quest 6 and the Talisman bearer gains the additional Mind Point, the same place the text for Zargon appears on page 18 & interlude on page 19. I don't believe there's been an official clarification, but I believe after Quest 6 makes the most sense given the text.

Hi. This is a good point!
But as someone else other ideas?
Is it also possible that the bearer could not really have the firestorm spell and its mention on page 18 is another refuse of the Quest?

So no mention was made at GenCon, but there's always Pulse Con just over a week from now!

This might be the only quest pack where Ogre Grog might come in handy...

Why would it be an error? It seems to fit with other happenings in keeping with the theme of the same questbook to me...

I think it's almost a foregone conclusion now that October 6th at SPIEL ESSEN convention in Germany we'll see Prophecy of Telor "unboxed."

Does that mean we'll see everything or just the minis? (and what minis might be in there? I'm hoping for the Mythic stretch goal figures, the non-exclusive ones... maybe tweaked versions of those that were available in the haslab campaign of 2021 for all those who missed out?).

See my comments on Spirit Queen's Torment predictions.

Will both be revealed next Friday? We'll see. I kind of want to see ATOH more, but we'll find out soon...!

More updates are coming in fast! Thanks Virg (reposted from the info I got from him on HeroQuestFans discord and added to my youtube community section):

More details on SPIEL ESSEN (Oct 6th) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYoOD... (thanks Spiel_Messe on youtube), thanks El_Virg for the reporting (original sources including FB). I won't be there, but the image is Hall 5 (of 6).

Virg's translation: “Directly from Gencon 2023, the HeroQuest Arena exhibition with its miniature is now coming to Spiel23 in Essen. To look at and take photos: an arena with all the miniatures, including the monk.
30 Minute Demo happening: Experience an exciting first insight into the world of HeroQuest.
In a 30-minute light demo that was created especially for spiel23, the game director, who plays Zargon, introduces you to the world of heroquest and monsters. You'll learn the basic rules in a playful way.
In addition to the exciting adventures, there is of course something to win every day:
In the first group of heroes to win against Zargon's forces in the morning, each successful player will receive the special HeroQuest dice set. The first group in the afternoon that wins against Zargon will receive 1x heroQuest the Moon of Terror adventure pack as a group prize. Up to 5 players can each go on the journey together with the game master.

Dread Veil Dice available just like at Gencon!!
Special offer for all heroQuest fans: With every purchase of HeroQuest items at the Hasbro stand with a value of at least EUR 80, you will receive a Dreal Veil Dice Set as a bonus. Offer is limited. While stocks last. Only when purchased during Spiel23, at Hasbro Pulse at the Hasbro stand.

Deepen your Hero Quest knowledge and learn how to create your own quests from a gaming expert.
In addition to many Heroquest tips and tricks, there are also some great giveaways for participants, for example the Heroquest dread veil dice set.

The number of participants is limited to 4 people per workshop. Registration in the welcome area at the Hasbro booth is necessary to secure a spot.

World premiere! For all Heroquest fans there is an unboxing of two previously unreleased Heroquest expansions with the Rocket Beans at the Hasbro trade fair stand. These two new products can be pre-ordered exclusively on Hasbro Pulse from 5:30 p.m.
Painting Heroquest miniatures for beginners. Learn from an expert how to perfectly paint and stage the Heroquest heroes and monsters.

The workshop participants will learn techniques from an experienced miniature painter and artist that can be used to bring the Heroquest miniatures visually to life. For example, it teaches how to implement shading and fine details or how to stage the Heroquest miniatures differently using scenographic techniques.
Participants can take home the miniatures they painted during the workshop.
In each workshop, the best painted miniature will be awarded and the winner will receive a HeroQuest Dread Veil Dice set.

Active participation is limited to up to four children or adults. Spectators are warmly welcome.

To take part in the workshop, please register at the Hasbro booth in the welcome area. Places will be allocated based on the order in which registrations are received."

Not meant to be an advertisement, this is just providing the info for all those curious about what's happening soon!

We're thinking so it means "world premiere" (not just "Europe premiere") that the two "new" expansions will probably be Prophecy of Telor and Spirit Queen's Torment (sadly probably not Against the Ogre Horde, for 2024) and the Wandering Monk will also be shown but is not considered part of that reveal. These unboxings will happen and then the two "new" expansions will go on pre-order.

Also we learned the Dread Veil Dice will be coming to Europe which a lot of people should be happy about! I don't speak German well, but I am hoping to catch the stream and catching up on all your reporting when I return from my trip!
