Would they be identical to the ones in KK/ROTWL? Because owners of the Mythic Tier would be using those, so it would make sense.

Or would they be re-designed as the entrance/exit doors have been in the EQP/BQP box remakes? So there finally we can presume there will be at least SOME plastics inside the box, even though they have not confirmed any contents other than the book thus far, officially. If the box is indeed the same size as KK/ROTWL that give us a sense... because those packs included 16 monsters each (and each had the two doors) plus a tile sheet and the book and cards.

Would the stretch goal extras fit (not counting the ones from Crypt of Perpetual Darkness)?
(greens):
2x goblins
2x orcs
2x Abominations
(off whites):
2x skeletons
2x mummies
2x zombies
(grays):
2x dread warriors
1x gargoyle
1x dread sorcerer

Wow, that comes out just right... 16!

Is there any need to add those extra combat dice? Not sure there is, but if they were looking to cram something else in, they could. but Probably those large tiles (probably forming 2 sheets or one large one folded over) the book and the 8 cards may be just right.

That's a good theory, I hope it isn't as straight forward though and that they split the alternate pose minis across this and Spirit Queens Torment, and give us a few completely new items.

As long as they fix the book, and cover tiles and cards accordingly I'll be happy - I'd expect with the reveal of Rise of the Dread Moon having a potions deck - that we will see additions for that too.

I own the mythic set, but would love to see this done properly.

Yeah I forgot about Spirit Queen's Torment. That pack would surely include the Orc Bard, but beyond that who can say... it would make sense to include the alternate orcs in that one (or maybe all the alternate green monsters)?

Of course they could include even more alternates in those... or even copies of the same ones (so you'd have 4 of each of the common ones by owning both, and 2 of the uncommon ones). If the Crypt of Perpetual Darkness got re-released we'd expect the dragon and the tiles and extra cards, but what else? Haven't a clue.

I'd expect more weird orc stuff to be honest, both SQT and and COPD push the whole good and variable orc stuff.. not my cup of tea (I prefer the concept of orcs being inherently evil and a corruption of nature take) and for my games require to much re-write to be of much use, but as usual I'd purchase SQT for the tiles and cards, if not much more came with COPD I'd not bother as I have the Mythic set...

Minotaur Skeletor with Battle Axe, there were orcs or goblins with bows or crossbows?

Ah. HeroQuest of course doesn't base the character's stats on what the model depicts as the weapon (one exception is the mercenaries), so there's no "need" for goblins and orcs with bows, but it would certainly be cool.

Of course then you'd have some players who would complain if the model doesn't depict a bow but has one, or vice versa.

Personally, I'd really like to have official cards and minis for ranged variants of core enemies (from whichever upcoming/ planned sets).

Yes the Mercs have differentiation based on sculpt, but so do the extant Elves.. Sort of, with the Archer and Warrior. So I feel there is precedent. I for one am hoping that RotDM adds more variant Elf NPCs (particularly that potential spell caster).

All of that said, I have not spoiled myself on the Prophesy of Telor quest yet (Other than a VERY brief flip through when my Mythic arrived), do we have a list of potential alt versions of existing or any "New" enemies yet? (it may even be in this thread and I missed it).

I only can remember Dread warriors with wall shields and a new Dread sorceror (and a final Boss of thenwant to). The orcs/goblins with proyectiles weapons maybe are from another expansión, I dont remember it properly.

I've been playing through Prophecy of Telor with a Barbarian, Druid, Dwarf and Elf starting through the Game System and Keller's Keep, a Wizard, Rogue, Elf and Warlock have all died from previous quests, but at this point the Druid feels kinda stale. Now that all the heroes are maxed out with weapons and Armor the need for all her healing spells aren't as helpful as they once were.

Half way through Prophecy of Telor the Talisman of Lore starts coming into play and attacking the wearer, which in this case is the Barbarian. I would imagine in most cases it's the Barbarian that wears it. But the rules of damage seem somewhat backwards. At the start of their turn the Bearer rolls 2 red dice and if the results is less then their mind points they lose a body point. Thinking about this, if it was worn by the Wizard he'd be taking damage all the time. But for the Barbarian it's kinda rare.he only took damage from it twice through a quest at the inception of this rule.
I feel it should work the opposite way, rolling higher then your mind points should do more damage. But then again he'd probably be losing 1BP almost every turn. But considering a healing potion for 2BP is ONLY 200 gold as opposed to 500 for a Potion of Restoration (which only gives 1BP and 1 MP)! This seems completely off balance, if you ask me.

However there IS the interesting dynamic, allowing the Bearer to cast Dread Spells (Lightning Bolt & Firestorm). Barbra did use Firestone to clear out the entire central room in Quest 7 The Archives at Arborenis. So I guess in that case it DOES make sense. I just always figured practicing Dread Magic was more cancerous, as the effects it had on Wardoz.

It's really not an issue, though. Out of all the quests they've been through they've accumulated enough healing potions and Elixirs of Life to sustain them.
It's mainly a lack of armor that led to the deaths of the aforementioned fallen heroes. So the only one in any real danger would be the Druid, but she's armed with a Crossbow and keeps her distance at this point. Personally I don't allow Shapeshift to enhance a Crossbow attack, but strictly melee battles.
Barbra has Borin's Armor, a helmet and Battle Axe with 5 defence, which is perfect for her.
Penny, the Dwarf has a helmet and Plate Mail and, depending on the monsters of the quest, alternates between a Battle Axe and Orc's Bane/Sheild. The fact that Plate Mail slows her down has her constantly buying Potions of Speed.
And Galadreil is comfortable with a helmet, Chainmail, Sheild and the Spirit Blade.

I'm also just curious, is that supposed to be Melar or Telor or Fellmarak on the quest book cover? It looks like he's wearing the Talisman of Lore, so probably not Telor...

It's the male elf (from the Heroic Tier box), wearing the Sorcerer's Crown and the Talisman of Lore, he is now corrupted and has become Fellmarak.
It represent the image Mentor see in the Loretome (pag 19 of the questbook) when he sayd "The face of Fellmarak cannot be mistaken. It is the bearer of the talisman (one of the heroes), and around the Sorcerer King's neck rests the Talisman of Lore!"
Possibly when the cover was drawn, they didn't decided to replace the male Elf with his female version yet.
That's why I supect they could include the male elf miniature from the Heroic Tier in this expansion (or even all four of the alternate sculpts).
off-topic: also other female heroes from the Mythic/Heroic tier are featured on some cards (Pass Through Rock or Bracers for example), so those may be hints they will be released in the future...

Agree. I directly consider it as a posible errata of the PoT's Alchemist Shop, as already declared in the errata thread.
