So if the Rogue has the Bandolier, which gives him infinite daggers, could he just use 1 of these daggers with the Potion of Alchemy for the 100 gold?

Strictly speaking, I would say Yes.

in my humble opinion, the potion of alchemy is one of the bugs that the remake of WoM has... you can even buy a dagger per 25 gc and instantly convert it to 100 gc. Clearly such potion was defined for the European classic version of the game were the cheapest weapon from the Equipment deck cost 100 gc (Shield & Staff).

Yeah, the potion is basically a 75gc find. It's not very exciting. I do allow a hero with this potion to take a rusty weapon if one is found to get a full 100gc.

As to the Bandolier, why did they give the Rogue a starting dagger? This can just be sold, or given to someone else to throw.

Talking of selling a dagger, what does the hero get, 12, 12.5 or 13?

12, it's half, but rounded down.

I never cared for the concept of infinite quarrels from the Crossbow or infinite daggers in the Bandolier. A Bandolier is a Tool Kit + Infinite Daggers that costs 350 gold. A regular Tool Kit is 250 Gold, so he should only get 4 daggers with it. Buying a spare bundle of daggers to keep replenishing would give him somewhere to put his money to.

I think that was probably the excuse to justify the inclusion of the Dagger rules in the shape of a dedicated equipment card in the Rogue Heir of Elethorn box. Nevertheless, I remember many discussions about those Rogue topics when the expansion was released (thread here)

Well, that's probably the only rule officially clarified in NA system, the answer is 12 according to the Selling Excess Items rule included in official expansions like FH or MoM.

The bandolier always counts as a dagger but the rogue needs a second one to use the two attacks skill: one is the dagger and the second one the bandolier.

I don't think so. The Rogue has two attacks, but an additional dagger is not required. If I am wrong then the Rogue would need to keep the dagger until a Shortsword is aquired.

I changed the Potion of Alchemy to allowing the item to be sold at full price when I added equipment cheaper than 100Gp, fixes the issue and you still get 100gp for a staff or shield.

If you attack with a short sword or a dagger you can make an extra ttack with a dagger. At least I understand you need a dagger in you off hand, the skill is called ambidextrous so you need to use both hands.

Arya Stark drops the dagger in her left hand, catches it mid-fall with her right, sticks him with the pointy end!

From my understanding, Ambidextrous doesn't necessarily say the Rogue needs the Bandolier, but I can understand why you draw that conclusion.
