Yeah most would want new or re-released plastic but I was conjecturing on what they could have done if they wanted to keep things on the cheap. There are ways to do just cards that would make it interesting. Heck, any extra artifacts they give us could be home brewed into ATOH since there are none there.

They could have get rid if the redesigned cards and sheets and add some new weapons or equipement ones or even some skill cards, something cheap that will also make people want to get it.

Agree, I'm always a fan of new/extra weapons or Artifacts.
This would have been a good time to add a temporary buff for a Spellcaster to allow them to carry an extra set of spells for a Quest.
I.e.
You have found an ancient Tome of Power.
When used and read during a Quest, user can now pick an extra set of spells to use from ones available, for this Quest only.
Or you could make him pick a random set.

Or spell scroll of uniformity
When cast, all fancy, glossy cards written in barely legible graffiti writing, suddenly change into the style of cards we know and love!
For three turns, no combat is allowed as Mentor and Morcar rejoice at everything being good again!!

New equipment would be nice:
2000 Gold for Elven Chainmail.
850 Gold for a Great Sword that only the Barbarian can use: 4 attack diagonal, 5 attack direct. 2 Handed.
Maybe an equipment card for a Spear finally? Can you use a shield with it? I'm assuming diagonal attack, maybe even throw.
A Pick Axe, only 2 attack dice but can be used to remove fallen blocks.

Monk is not my favourite Hero, but he needs a weapon staff related for him. The female sculpt ( the better one for me) even has a staff included. It states he can use a staff, but the staff is only one attack dice, his unarmed attack is 2 dice, so why would he buy a staff. I get it allows diagonal attack, but at a measly one dice. He needs a staff/ bojutsu type weapon for use by him only, that allows diagonal attack but rolls 2 die attack, maybe 3 with some sort of training or power up.

I allow a champion monk to begin to use black dice to strike bare handed, and purple dice when wielding one of the weapons he can use.

I'm pretty happy with the expansion to be honest. I don't like the alternate card layouts, and the fact they're foil. But other than that I think it's fine. I don't really need more of the base monsters, so if they were to add extra miniatures it should have been some of the characters we're missing. But that's not a realistic ask for this product.
All in all satisfied. Looking forward tl receive it and add it to ever growing backlog of quests.
