Ah, so if you had known the stuff would have been available later you'd have waited... you only pledged Mythic thinking that was your only chance to get it?
That's it and I won't push it, like I said, not a debate, you don't have to agree with me.
I know that many people assumed that the game would never go to retail so this was their ONLY chance to get any of the remake stuff.
Good to hear your thought process. I listened to the pessimists who said this was my only chance, because like many others, I didn't think much of the new material (only the Stephen Baker quest book). I knew the project was already funded... Hasbro didn't "need" my $150 to release the product since I pledged in the 11th hour.
So Hasbro didn't fool me with false advertising, I was fooled by other fans and by other Hasbro Pulse customers online. I too blame Hasbro for being short-sighted on the Knight Hero release... just as I blame GameStop for blindly lying to customers (blaming it on their outdated pre-order system). I also blame them for misleading us on the Bonus Heroes, even though it doesn't impact me personally, other than embarrassing me for assuring others that they would make these figures available in retail as the page (which is still there) leads me to believe.
Without the graphics I could see where the lack of a comma COULD be interpreted as saying none of the pledge bonuses would ever be available in the future (except maybe some alternative version of the Sir Rangar character, which I don't care about, a guy you use once as a NPC needs a dedicated figure why?).
The Completionist thing is how they get ya. FOMA (fueled by misinformation from the public) is how they got me. Outright lying and breaking promises (against the customers) is bad, but being deliberately vague so they can pretend they never promised is bad too, I would say.
I know things didn't work out the way they wanted. So admit your mistakes, Hasbro, and give us a plan for how you plan to fix it. If you want your customers to feel like a part of it, you have to talk to us, have some give and take... show some respect.
