Hello all! I'm doing an unofficial translation of First Light for the Brazilian fans. Cards almost all done. Did anyone find good scans/photos of the quest book?

The quest booklet is not yet officially released in PDF, and sites like this don't promote high quality fan scans being shared, as you know...

I've so far only seen copies of FL on Pulse and Barnes & Nobles outside of Target in my part of the US...

Target is currently offering a “buy 1 game, get 1 at 50% off” sale. So that’s two copies of FL at approx. $75 (US), if anyone needs/wants two sets.

It’s after Christmas, and it’s for all board games, not just First Light. Otherwise the latter is full price, and continues to be stocked, so I guess it’s doing okay (at least in my area).

Just so people know, I can confirm that a box purchased from Barnes and Noble has normal red-colored movement dice like the European releases had. It seems the white dice with red pips may only been the sets sold at Target, when Target had exclusive access to this set. I can’t say if it was intentional or a misprint, but I know some people (including myself) were curious if the dice wouldbe red when First Light was more widely released.

As soon as I heard about First Light I ordered in on line from Target because that was the only place selling it. Mine came with the white dice/red pips. I would wager that this was just an error or mistake in early production. Once they realized there was an error they immediately changed it. Some of the cards insist on rolling a red dice for mind points. Considering this was an alternate Game System, it's not an error they'd want when trying to reach a wider audience.

Yeah. The comment at GenCon when they were revealed was "those dice aren't final." Now we know what it meant!

The new cover was the bigger thing that distracted us.

My group has now begun quest 3. I've been very busy, but here's hoping we can finish it by the end of the year!
