It's worth pointing out that this time they didn't create new icons for the large tiles, just gave us monochromatic scans and included images of the old furniture in the blank quest map section. I own it, but I didn't notice that little detail the first few times I looked through it (we're playing it on Saturday evenings, though we missed last week).

I’m glad this was made available for purchase! I wish you could buy the dice separately, because I don’t want the silly mat thing. The dice look great though. Even so, I probably won’t buy one.

That's understandable. I feel bad mostly for those outside of the US who are not able to make a choicel because they are not available in their country.

On discord, AH said they are working to get other locations on board. I think the significance of them offering the products is a sign that we will see more of this type of thing in the future. Dice, mats, dice towers, furniture sets... alot of possibilities.

Silly that it won't be sold in Quebec, because the only text are the tags that are on the tin/scrolls. It's literally just dice in a box and a roll up scroll with snaps/zipper, not a game manual. You'd think they could translate that into French Lickety Split and sell it there too...

But good on them for making good on this NON-LIMITED release and cutting into some scalper activity. Would you rather pay $350 to some shady guy on ebay, or $35 apiece for a couple of sets to Hasbro? Granted, not every country is going to have these, but maybe some friendly folks in this community would be willing to ship overseas to their fellow fans at cost?

I can vouch for the utility of the "dice mat." We played a party game and it was fine for rolling, the dice didn't fly off of it unless you were really throwing them hard/wide and it would lay flat pretty easily. The dice themselves are a bit hard to read the symbols at a glance on the surface unless you are close or have bright overhead lights shining down on them (as was true in the Exhibit Hall at GenCon). Combine this with the Frozen Horror and you have custom dice for three characters (or more easily differentiate Zargon's dice from that of the heroes).

Makes a great Valentine's Day gift...!

35 bucks + shipping and taxes for dices and a mat... I cant buy it because Ik from Europe but wouldnt pay it anyway. The dices aree very cool but this is a very high price tag. I can live and play without it.

Some of these new dice look kind of cool, but I still prefer the feel of the wooden dice.

I'm sure some Etsy sellers are working on creating something similar right now. At least as far as the dice are concerned. Or they will get these once they come out and then create their own version.. Probably same quality but much less cheaper in price.

I usually dont say this for some of Hasbro's larger lines but people should really think about getting these just to support the brand. A bad Legends or Black Series wave comes out that no one buys... the line isn't going anywhere. They will adjust character selection for the next wave.

However, HQ is a little more niche. AH offering other products besides expansions or character packs may show Hasbro that there is money to be made here and that the line will be profitable for the foreseeable future. This will guarantee more content going forward. I believe Chris Nadeu said something similar in the Kurgan Tapes and I agree with him.
