Dear all,
I am glad to share with you one of my last fan-made works for HeroQuest, an Alchemy Expansion Set for Rise of the Dread Moon Quest Pack.
Here you have the complete unformatted draft document of this expansion:
And here you may download all the required formatted files, in both English and Spanish languages:

REQUIRED CARDS ARE INCLUDED READY FOR PRINTING AT HOME, PLEASE THEY ARE ONLY FOR PRIVATE USE, NOT FOR SALE IN ANY FORMAT.
This mini-expansion has been mainly designed to enhance the use of the Alchemy deck included in the HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon quest pack, since if just the Treasure cards included in that official pack were used, the Alchemy deck is in my opinion unfortunately barely enjoyed for the purpose for which I guess it was intended, which is to give heroes the chance to craft any own potion during games.
To play with this mini-expansion, simply follow the instructions written in the Reference card, and play according to the usual rules for Alchemy described in Rise of the Dread Moon Quest Pack. The only difference when playing with these cards is that some potions will now require the hero to have two different Reagents to be crafted, and now the Heroes should be allowed to search for treasure also in corridors.
The design principles that have been followed to create this set of Treasure cards are to allow any potion from the Alchemy deck to be brewed by the Heroes with it, that depending on how powerful they are, not all potions are equally easy to brew, and that with this set of cards the statistics of the official Treasure deck of Rise of the Dread Moon remain mostly unchanged in terms of the probability that the Heroes will have of drawing a beneficial or harmful card using the Treasure deck extended by this set.
To avoid players having to constantly check the cards in the Treasure deck to know which reagents are used to make which potions, an auxiliary Alchemy Reference Chart has been created in the shape of a Reference card, which players can consult during games. This table also provides the official gold costs for each of the potions, and optional gold cost values have also been included for those potions in the Alchemy deck with an unknown official cost, such as the Heroic Brew or the Potion of Defense.
It should be noted that the combination of reagents required to make each of the potions in the Alchemy deck has not always been defined based solely on the official gold cost of the potion to be made, but also by the benefits that consuming it gives a Hero. Therefore, the combinations of reagents designed also attempt to compensate for some imbalances that, in the author's opinion, exist in the official gold costs of potions. Although not the only example, the clearest one is the Potion of Magic, whose official gold cost in Prophecy of Telor expansion is the same as that of a Potion of Recall (400 gold coins), although the first potion allows the Hero who consumes it to recover up to two more spells than the latter. Therefore, if playing with this mini-expansion, it has been decided to make the crafting of a Potion of Magic considerably more expensive than that of a Potion of Recall, requiring reagents that are less in stock in the Treasure deck. Additionally, a more balanced alternative cost of 700 gold coins for the Potion of Magic has been proposed in the Alchemy Reference Chart.
Furthermore, unlike the reagent cards included in Rise of the Dread Moon, which allowed players to recover 1 Body Point or 1 Mind Point if they were directly consumed, it has been deliberately decided that none of the new reagents included in this mini-expansion include such a secondary use, in order to compensate for the fact that the reagents in Rise of the Dread Moon cannot be combined with any other reagent to make a greater number of different potions or more powerful potions, as all the new reagents can.
Additionally, while it is true that the degradation of the treasure deck will predictably be much slower when playing with this expansion, since the deck is now much larger, this fact has been considered to be compensated by the potential increase in the number of treasure searches, since it is now possible to search in corridors too, as well as taking into account that almost all the new beneficial cards included in the deck cannot be used immediately, since they are reagents that require additional actions to be used in the game as previously crafted potions.
Moreover, this set of Treasure cards also takes into account the existence of the four Alchemy cards included in the Jungles of Delthrak expansion, so the set can also be used with that expansion.
To play this mini-expansion, I also includede a revised and expanded Character Sheet, which provides enough space to record the reagents the Heroes collect between missions, as well as more space to record the potions they own. In addition to a "Reagents" and "Potions" section, this expanded Character Sheet should also include a section to track the Hero's lost Mental Points, as this was not included in the game's original Character Sheet.
In the other hand, I thought it was a good idea to add another double-sided Reference card summarizing the instructions on how to use this new set of cards, as well as the cards it contains, so they can be easily identified if mixed with the rest, without the need for new icons (which I think is aesthetically better because several of the cards are identical to the original ones from the game).
Finally, although it's not essential, for consistency, I also added a new "Holy Water" card to the Alchemy deck, since the official Treasure card "Sacred Plant" also allows for this mixture, but unfortunately it wasn't included in the official Alchemy deck of Rise of the Dread Moon.
Finally I would like to highlight that this project was iniatially inspired on a previous idea by Telegram user Kunque81, and of course I would like to give my big thanks to Eudoxio for his help on this project, his patience and ideas have been very helpful. This work had never been the same without Eudoxio.
I wish you will try and enjoy this experimental project in your game tables, I tried to do my best to enhance the Alchemy rules.

P.D.: About treasure deck statistics, here you have the numbers for anyone interested in knowing more about this mini-expansion, however please notice that trying to match the original statistics of the deck has not been the main design criterion to make this mini-expansion, I considered that the statistical mismatches which may affect the difficulty of the treasure deck were actually balanced by other aspects. Nevertheless I highlighted in bold the mayor differences between the respective decks:
