Heres a dice tower i have been working on lately. Its a slight adaption of the prison tower on the hirst arts website.
Now that i know dice arnt going to be flying off the table, im almost ready for actually playing Heroquest.

I gave the kids some Heroquest training today. They are only 4 and 5 but have shown interest in my me making things and painting.
I started small with just the centre room and only the barbarian and elf were the heros used. This was my first go playing anything heroquest since i was a kid.
My oldest son picked up the basic rules pretty quick. Hes fully aware of stuff like heroes use white shields to defend etc.
It was quite funny, my youngest was playing the elf. Rather than fighting he chose to run away from the baddies.
So with the fimir in hot pursuit i told him to use the pass through rock spell to escape him back into the room which left the fimir scratching his head!
The mission was to exterminate all the baddies without getting killed, which they did (3 skellys, 1 zombie, 1 mummy, 1 fimir and a chaos warrior).
We had a laugh and i will try a bigger part of the board next time we play.
