How long does it take you to put a mini like this together? Do you do 3D modeling/sculpting for a living, or just a hobby?

Board member Thantos sells minis in his shop, zealotminiatures.com, and I know he has sold other members' sculpts in the past. If you have no interest in selling yourself, you could probably just send the models to him. Bet he'd give you a commission!

These take somewhere between 5-10 hours. So couple of nights for me. I make them pretty quickly on the fly without too much thinking just to get them done.
I'm a 3d artist/entrepreneur in game industry so I do this stuff all day

I did all the graphics and art design in game called Legend Of Grimrock 1 & 2 which is an old school dungeon crawler inspired by Dungeon Master. Currently I'm working on a game called Druidstone that is heavily inspired by Hero Quest and Descent. Some people here could find it interesting. Check it out in here: http://druidstone-game.com/

Those were fantastic games with beautiful graphics. Well done!

Wow, they are pretty!
If you get them to the right scale, you could count me as customer.

Agreed, i could do 32 mm and match it well enough with other minis i use. Maybe even slightly larger, but 38 is rather large to me.

I'm currently running first test print on the hero group. I had some extra space on the print bed so I also scaled them down to 30mm (from toes to eye) scale just for a test to see how they hold up. ATM it seems that some of the prints failed to attach to the print bed but I let it run to the end to see if any one survived. I'll run another test tomorrow.

I've been working on the Orc this weekend. It's proven to be much harder than I thought, but I think it's starting to get there. I'm doing his weapons next. I'm thinking of double axes. What do you think? Axes or something else?

I guess Orcs usually grab anything they can get their hands on, so an axe is fine. I'd make it worn and tarnished, though, not something brand new and shiny

. As for the offhand, you could do a second axe or a shield, I guess.
