Printing customised pitches onto vinyl mats is becoming quite popular in the Bloodbowl tournament & league circuit, where I spend most of my gaming time. One of my friends at our local Bloodbowl league decided to produce a custom board for us which is printed onto vinyl (a bit like bathroom flooring)
Here's a picture of the finished test product, which is a vast improvement over the standard gaming board:

Our Heroquest boards are not getting any younger, and this has some interesting possibilities for me, like being able to match the dungeon floor colour to my based models, having areas marked for the card decks, like on Monopoly etc. and even printing frequently used rules on the sides of the board. Not to mention it's roll-uppable and resists drink spills!
The price of the board for our league is expected to be about £20 to £25 for a min order qty of 5. I've not checked, but I think the Heroquest board would be a similar size... This seems to be fairly affordable in my view.
I had a quick search but couldn't find if anyone had done something similar yet for the Heroquest board?
Cheers,
Steven
