Comes with a variety of modular dungeon tiles that can be used in place of a board. There are two double-side game boards with this game that are fairly compatible. Boards are: Castle, Cavern, City and Valley. The set-up isn't ideal, but the board for this could be used for HeroQuest. But the first expansion, Dark World: Village of Fear comes with a cool Village Board complete with buildings that make an excellent addition for a town scenario. - Warhammer Quest
Also uses a modular tile system with many different rooms that can be used for a modular game of HeroQuest. - Dungeons & Dragons: The Fantasy Adventure Board Game and its two expansions, Eternal Winter and Forbidden Forest all use a modular system of large square tiles that can be arranged with both interior and exterior locations on them. The squares are roughly the same size as in HeroQuest.
